Brace Up To Open Ihiala Up For Greatness, Gov Soludo Charges Ihiala Stakeholders

The Igwe of Ihiala, HRH Igwe Thomas Obidiegwu, Hon C. Don Adinuba, Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Pascal Agbodike, Ichie Mike Ejezie and many others were hosted by the amiable governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, at the Government House, Awka.
The spokesman of the entourage, Hon C. Don Adinuba, after commending the Governor for his wonderful work in the state, introduced the high point of their visit.
Governor Soludo in response, thanked Ndi Ihiala for their support to him during the last election and noted that the meeting is coming at the right time.
He urged Ndi Ihiala and its environs to unite together against insecurity in the zone by partnering with the State Government’s Joint Task Force on security. He stated that the present Government met almost with the entire South Senatorial Zone taken over by gunmen, who are purely on blood business against the people of Anambra.
According to Mr. Governor, the government has put in massive efforts in dislodging the gunmen from Lilu, Ogboji, Osumoghu, Ukpor and Ogbaru axis.
He appreciated their gesture in constructing a state-of- the-art library, which they want the State Government to approve. He encourage them to do more like Ndi Neni, who had undertaken many kilometers of roads, completed them, instituted a maintenance committee on the already done roads while doing more.
Mr. Governor made it clear that oil economy is on the high decline and the State Government is looking towards green revolution to revitalize its economy.
He also added that the era of sharing thousands of political appointments as slots to communities has ended. He noted that appointments will be made, will be circulated but will be strictly based on vacancies and qualifications of the deserving appointees.
The Governor, Prof Soludo, passionately appealed to Ndi Ihiala to join him in his great dream that Ihiala Town and Ihiala LGA will rise and shine. He challenged Ndi Ihiala to be provoked and equally vowed to develop Ihiala as another mega industrial and commercial nerve of the Southeast beside Onitsha and Nnewi.
Barr. Vin Ezeaka thanked the Governor for his inspiration, motivation and hope he gave to Ndi Ihiala and informed him that Ndi Ihiala from day one has been in the business of community public private partnership and will continue to do so.
