“I am using this medium to advice Damini Ogiolu aka Burna Boy to report at the nearest police station as all efforts to locate him at his Lekki residence proved abortive,” CP Edgal said while parading the four suspects arrested for the robbery at the command headquarters in Ikeja,

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that on October 22, after the concert, Mr 2Kay who lodged at the Eko Hotels & Suites had returned to his room after his performance and heard a knock on his room door.

During the investigation which involved probing the hotel’s CCTV camera, a girlfriend of one of the hotel workers was arrested and she led the police to the arrest of three others.

The gang however allegedly confessed that Burna Boy had contracted them to teach Mr 2Kay a lesson by beating him up.

The suspects said the Dancehall star paid them N50,000 upfront and also paid another N50,000 after the victim (Mr 2Kay) was beaten up.
