In his heartfelt Christmas message, Waheed Salaudeen, the Chairman of Buruj Sports Academy, took a moment to thank parents and guardians for their unwavering support in helping the academy achieve exceptional success in 2024.
Recognizing the vital role parents play in the development of young athletes, he urged them to continue to foster the values of hard work, discipline, and kindness in their children.
“This Christmas, as we reflect on the achievements of our players, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the parents and guardians who trust us with the responsibility of nurturing their children’s talent,” Salaudeen said.
“Your commitment to the growth and well-being of these young athletes is at the heart of our success.”
He highlighted the academy’s key accomplishments such as the selection of Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen for Nigeria’s U15 national team, the Future Eagles, and the upcoming trials for several players in Spain and Europe.
These milestones not only celebrate the players’ potential but also underscore the collective efforts of families and the Buruj team in guiding them toward their dreams.
“This festive season is a time to give thanks, but it’s also a reminder of our responsibilities to others,” Salaudeen added, referring to the academy’s recent outreach to motherless homes.”
“As a community, we share the joys of our achievements, and we also extend our hands to those in need.”
Looking toward 2025, he encouraged parents to continue supporting their children’s ambitions both on and off the field, emphasizing the importance of education alongside sports.
“To the parents and guardians, thank you for your continued trust. Together, we can raise champions who excel in life and on the pitch. Merry Christmas, and may the coming year bring continued growth, joy, and success for all.”
This message not only reflects Buruj’s dedication to developing football talent but also reinforces its commitment to the holistic growth of every player, supported by a strong community of families.
