Buruj FC Product, Noah Salaudeen Continues Steady Rise In Lithuania

Posted on May 10, 2025
Rising Nigerian talent and Buruj FC graduate, Noah Abolaji Salaudeen, was on target again in Lithuania’s II Lyga B Division on Friday night, continuing his steady climb in European football.
Now playing for VJFM Fortūna, Salaudeen delivered a standout performance despite his team’s 4–2 loss to league leaders FK Utenis in a high-paced encounter at the Utenos Krašuonos Gymnasium Stadium.
FK Utenis took an early two-goal lead, with Ridas Bieliajevas scoring in the 17th minute and Aistis Linka doubling the advantage 15 minutes into the second half. However, Fortūna mounted a spirited response, with Deimantas Jakubavičius pulling one back in the 60th minute.
Seven minutes later, Salaudeen showcased his growing influence by netting the equalizer, bringing the score to 2–2 and momentarily shifting the momentum in Fortūna’s favor.
That parity was short-lived, as Rapolas Gylys struck just 60 seconds later to restore Utenis’s lead, before Pijus Petuchovas sealed the win in the 73rd minute with a fourth goal for the home side.
Despite the result, Salaudeen’s performance stood out as a bright spot, highlighting his progress since making the move to Europe.
His latest goal is yet another milestone in his development, and a testament to the impact Buruj FC products are making on the international stage.
As he continues to impress in Lithuania, Salaudeen remains one of Nigeria’s promising exports to watch.
