Buruj Skipper Noah Salaudeen Aims For Super Cup Glory

The skipper of Buruj Sports Academy, Noah Abolaji Salaudeen, is roaring to lead by example as the team is getting set to hit the United Kingdom for this year’s edition of the English and Welsh Super Cup tournaments.
The young centre forward, who can still play as a winger, impressed during the team’s previous outings in the Queensland and United Arab Emirates.
As a matter fact, Noah, who is the son of the CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, emerged as the leading scorer in one of the foreign trips.
Having been around for quite a while, his evolution both on and off the pitch has enabled him to develop his leadership qualities and the 2019 Super Cup outing being his first as the captain of the troop will afford him the opportunity to show his qualities so that he can take his game to the next level.
Speaking on how he is looking forward to the tournaments that will take place in Manchester and Cardiff respectively, the soft-spoken goal-poacher quipped:
“We are getting set by training so hard. It has been quite tough in terms of the way the coaching staff are dealing with us but we are all enjoying it.”
“We want to do well both individually and collectively and as the captain, I want to lead by example. I have featured in previous outings and we are looking forward to do well this time around again. Hopefully, we should be able to defend the double titles we won last year and impress the scouts who will be around. That is our principal aim and God willing, we will realise our dreams” the ex-Borehamwood trialist enthused.
