Buruj Sports Academy Anniversary To Hold In Lagos

The much publicised 10th Anniversary Of Buruj Sports Academy and canvass for the upliftment of the standard of grassroots football support for young will now hold at Araromi Youths Sports Development Center, Gbagada, Lagos.

The first leg of the event was held in London in August 3months ago.

The second leg of the anniversary has been scheduled to hold on the 24th day of December, 2018, while Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere (PK1st) will lead some young and upcoming Hip-hop artistes to perform on the day.

Speaking on the new development, the CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, explains that after wide consultations with other support groups and individuals, the programme has to be moved to a more central and spacious venue to accommodate the large crowd and guarantee top-notch security.

“We have already secured a more secured and conducive venue for the event and we thank our friends at Gbagada Grassroots Sports Association for granting us the permission to use the venue which is Araromi Youths Sports Development Centre, Gbagada”

“With this sorted out, we will now face other publicity, souvenirs and logistics demand of hosting a successful anniversary. We have some jerseys to sell and it comes in different categories,” Dr. Buruj posited.
