Buruj Sports Academy Set For New Season, Unveils New Jersey

Following the rebranding process of the academy, which began on 1st July with the launching of the new academy logo that conveys several messages including the academy’s connection to its native land, its respect for its grassroots, the type of activity the club is involved in and also indicates the nurturing and development of collection of great stars in running, basketball, cycling, table tennis, lawn tennis and footballing which is currently the major focus of the academy, the academy has unveiled the new jersey to get set for the task ahead once the Government hits the green button on contact sports reopening.

The new jersey comes in sky blue, which signifies self confidence and white colour which signifies unity, the jersey portrays the logo of the academy’s Life Matron Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi – the General Overseer of Love of Christ Generation Church, who has been a pillar of support for the academy and the teeming youth playing significant philanthropic roles coupled with a genuine love for sports.

Also, the Academy’s Life Patron, His Imperial Majesty Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Ooni of Ile – Ife, has been a good royal father to the academy partnering the drive to global rejuvenation. 

He has been described as an ‘astute entrepreneur driven by the need to turn impossibilities into possibilities. Oba Ogunwusi is the spiritual leader of the Yoruba people now saddled with the responsibility of making supplications to God and the Orisa on behalf of his tribe and the world at large during annual festivals such as Olojo.

Fuji Maestro Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere, Agbaakin Abobagunwa of Yorubaland, the Chairman Board of Trustees of the Academy, is a man of high integrity and has been a source of inspiration and motivation to the players overtime rekindling their energy to give their best to excel and triumph in their chosen field.

It is going to be a busy session once football kicks off as the management of the academy had been working tirelessly to ensure that the players derive their aims and objective in the round leather game.
