Catch The Drip: Sprite®’s New Look Hits Nigeria

Posted on May 27, 2024

SPRITE®, the iconic lemon-lime flavoured drink from The Coca-Cola Company, has launched its irresistibly delicious lemon-lime taste in a new bold look — highlighting the ultimate cut-through thirst-quenching experience that only Sprite® can deliver.

The successful launch of the Sprite ‘Heat Happens’ global platform in 2022 encouraged people to ‘stay cool’ in tension driven or heated moments.

Leaning on the insight that people, especially the Gen Z-ers, live in a more heated world than ever, Sprite actively invited people to enjoy a refreshing ice-cold Sprite drink and keep their cool instead.

Introducing the sensational “Cool New Drip” – more than just a makeover, with the brand promising to deliver an upgraded multi-sensorial experience to people by focusing on this iconic drink’s new look, intensely fizzy and delicious taste.

Senior Marketing Director of Coca-Cola Nigeria, Yusuf Murtala, shared his excitement: “what we want is to show – not just tell – people why Sprite® has that ‘irresistible taste’. We are quite excited and thrilled to unveil this exhilarating evolution for Sprite. The Cool New packaging ensures a consistent global identity for the brand, while preserving the authentic taste that the Nigerian consumers crave.”

Watch out for Sprite’s electrifying Cool new Drip communication on TV, radio, digital billboards, social media feeds, store shelves, bus shelters – basically everywhere you look!

So ditch the ordinary, grab a Sprite with the Cool New Drip, and get refreshed!
