Celebrities, Style Take To The NRC Tracks On Val’s Day

Posted on February 13, 2026

As the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) prepares for its highly anticipated Valentine’s voyage, the “Railway Fest” is promising a high-octane blend of entertainment that goes far beyond a simple commute.

Nigeria Railway Corporation in partnership with Ojez Entertainment and other organizers have pulled out all the stops, turning the Lagos-to-Ibadan route into a rolling festival of Nigerian excellence.

The journey features a heavy-hitting lineup of talent. Passengers will be treated to live performances by legendary soul singer Yinka Davis and highlife icon Sunny Neji, ensuring the soundtrack to the trip is as smooth as the rail itself.

Steering the day’s activities are two of Nollywood’s most recognizable faces, Segun Arinze and Charles Inojie, who serve as the official celebrity anchors for the tour.

The onboard experience is designed to be immersive. Rather than just sitting in their seats, guests will move through a curated environment of:

Live Drama: Interactive sketches performed in the aisles.

Fine Dining: A romantic culinary experience tailored for the occasion.

Curated Side Attractions: Various surprises and games to keep the energy high during the scenic transit.

Fashion on the Rail

The true climax of the event occurs upon the train’s return to the Mobolaji Johnson Train Station in Ebute Metta.

The platform will be transformed for a spectacular fashion show, where professional models will showcase the latest trends in Nigerian couture.

This grand finale, set against a backdrop of comedy and music, aims to cement the “Love Train” as a premier cultural event.

“This isn’t just a trip; it’s a showcase of our lifestyle,” organizers stated.

With the mix of scenic views and top-tier talent, the NRC is betting on this being the most talked-about Valentine’s event of the year.
