Champions Imade College Win Opening Match At Olowo’s Cup

The champions of Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye lll Football Competition, otherwise known as Olowo’s Cup, Imade College started the defence of their title on a brighter note on Monday as they secured the three points from the opening match of the school sports football tournament.

The champions beat Methodist High School 2-1, having scored the first goal in the first half and their opponents equalised immediately the second half kicked off. However, the winner came in for the champions few minutes to the end of the match at 85 minute to nail Methodist High School and win the game.

Taking place at the Owo Mini Stadium, Tuesday’s match will involve Owo High School and New Church Grammar School at 4pm.
