Chief Chris Ekwilo Endorses Eze Nicholas Njoku For Ezendigbo Lagos State

Ndigbo may have settled for a new Ezendigbo in Lagos State who will replace late Hyacinth Ohazuruike as Ezendigbo in the State following the endorsement and nomination of Eze Amb. Nicholas Njoku by the top Igbo king maker, Chief Chris Ekwilo.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Chief Chris Ekwilo, who also hold the chieftaincy title of Nnanyereugo of Ezinifite in Aguata Local Government of Anambra State, publicly endorsed Eze Nicholas Njoku because of his sterling qualities not only as Eze Ndigbo in Ejigbo but as a United Nations Ambassador for Peace for his contributions to humanity.
While endorsing Eze Njoku as the new Ezendigbo in Lagos State, Chief Ekwilo noted that he settled for him because he discovered that he is a leader with milk of human kindness and passionate about the interests of Ndigbo in general.
Chief Ekwilo, also known as Anya Ndigbo, explained that Ndigbo need Ezendigbo in Lagos State who has leadership qualities and have contributed immensely to the progress of Ndigbo and indeed humanity.
Therefore, going by the description of Chief Ekwilo, Ndigbo may have gotten the right candidate to replace the late Eze Ohazuruike if eventually Eze Njoku accepts to be crowned Ezendigbo in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Chief Ekwilo is not the only person that has endorsed and nominated Eze Njoku to lead Ndigbo in Lagos State. So many groups including some members of Igbo Speaking Community, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, town unions and market men and women have as well nominated Eze Njoku for the vacant position.
Those groups believe that Eze Njoku fits into the position as a unifier and man of peace and impecable character to lead Ndigbo and champion a new course with direction for Ndigbo in Lagos State.
However, it was not certain if Eze Njoku has accepted or not but what is certain is that Eze Njoku is under intense pressure from various Igbo groups, individuals and Ndieze to accept to lead Ndigbo in Lagos State.
Eze (Amb.) Nicholas Emenike Njoku is the Eze-Igbo Ohazurumee of Aigbaka, Ejigbo, Lagos and holds the chieftaincy title of Ezi okwu bu ndu of Abazu Kingdom in Ikeduru Local Government area of Imo State.
Since he became Eze years ago, he has demonstrated passion towards the promotion of Igbo customs, culture and tradition in Nigeria. He has continued to preserve Igbo culture by singlehandedly establishing and financing Igbo Language learning school in Lagos, employed teachers and continued to maintain the school till date.
He is currently the Chairman of Ndi Eze Imo State in South West and Diaspora, while working towards the unity and progress of all Igbos within his constituency and beyond.
Eze Nicholas Njoku has received numerous awards within Nigeria and abroad including the highest honour as United Nations Ambassador and has been working for unity and peace in Nigeria and indeed the world.
Eze Nicholas Njoku is a business mogul with chains of businesses in Nigeria and abroad. He is a super philanthropist and this quality endeared him to many people particularly the youths of Nigeria. He inspires confidence in people and is unconditionally loyal to his friends, family and would go to any extent to support friends no matter the position or class they belong to.
Eze Njoku is a very humble man but he abhors lies, greed, injustice and ingratitude because these vices are adverse to building trust and lasting relationships. He strongly believes that such malevolence cannot build any nation. He equally believes that if one’s relationship with people is built on false foundation, it reduces the level of trust that people will repose in one thereby eliciting hindrances to future favours.
Eze (Amb) Nicholas Emenike Njoku is an easy going leader to work with. He is also strong willed but applies diligence, wisdom and integrity in any decision he wishes to take all the time. He is a team player who does a lot of consultations to enable him arrive at objective decisions. He strongly believes in the power of God and believes that God as a standard bearer through whose guide all must follow. Perhaps, that is why he is so courageous, fearless and firm on any issues he handles.
No wonder many Igbo people in Lagos State are clamouring for Eze Njoku to take over the leadership position as Ezendigbo in Lagos State.
