Chief Vivian Obi Inaugurates APC Professional Women Council Coordinators & Executives In Southeast Zone

Women are really taking their place in nation building for the 2023 election following the inauguration of State Coordinators and Zonal Executives of APC Professional Women Council in the Southeast zone by their Zonal Coordinator, Chief (Dr) Vivian Obi. 
 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the inaugural meeting, which took place at the APC Secretariat in Owerri, Imo State, was attended by women from the Southeastern states hosted by the Party Chairman, Hon Ikechukwu Sunday Umeh, who was also conferred as the Patron of APC Professional Women Council Southeast zone.
During the event, Hon. Nkechi Ugwu, Commissioner For Women Affairs, Gender and Vulnerable Groups, decorated Dr (Mrs.) Obi as the State Ambassador Imo State Chapter for APC Professionals Women Council.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Obi stated that the Professional Women are taking their place in nation building and the purpose of the setting up APC Professional Women Council was to create a structure for mobilization and empowerment of women for APC in the Southeast zone for 2023. She stated that the group was making progress and will cover all the States in Nigeria in line with the vision of APC and the DG, Hon. Mrs. Ronke Soyombo.
She explained that the event provided for the courtesy visit to the APC State Chairman Imo Chapter and the presentation of the APC flag for the success of the 2023 General Election.
In an attendance were the APC Professionals Women Council Coordinators, Zonal Executives and other members from Imo, Anambra, Enugu, Abia and Ebonyi States.
