CLO Appeals To Nigerians To Respect Government, Experts Advice On Coronavirus

The Chairman of Civil Liberties Organisation, CLO, Anambra State branch, Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme, has applauded proactive measures to forestall escalation of Coronavirus in the country.
P.M.EXPRESS reports as was disclosed by Ezekwueme in a release over the outbreak of the virus.
He praised the Ministry of Health, Centre For Disease Control, Anambra State Public Health Management Agency for proactive measures they have taken so far especially their up to date briefing of Nigerians on the dangers of Coronavirus and how best to avoid it.
“The proactive measures taken by Anambra State Government is commendable and steps in the right direction.”
“In view of our experiences in our sensitisation campaigns, some misguided and ignorant citizens doubt the existence of the deadly disease hence the inevitable need to commence sensitisation, educating and informing the citizenry about the killer disease and how best to avoid contacting it.”
“Anambra State Government should without hesitation set up implementation committee to be comprised of men of impeccable integrity to monitor and ensure strict compliance with the directives of the government.”
Government should provide sanitisers and infra red thermometers for its Ministries and establishments, whereas parks, schools and market leaders should provide for their establishments.”
“Health is Wealth, a healthy Nation is a wealthy nation. The nation must be protected from the deadly disease by all Nigerians.”
“The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Vincent Okpala and other officials should embark on assessment visits to know the level of compliance to government patriotic directives” Ezekwueme posited. 
He maintained that Church leaders, traditional rulers, Civil Society Organizations and Market leaders have indispensable roles to play if we will win the war against the deadly global health challenge.
