Comrade Dauda Attends Felabration

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), on Sunday, 19th October, 2025, attended the grand finale of the annual world-renowned music and arts festival, Felabration, held in honour of the legendary Afrobeat icon, Late Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
The week-long event, which celebrates music, art, and African creativity, came to a colourful close Sunday night, featuring outstanding performances from various artists across the globe.
This year’s edition of Felabration was proudly co-sponsored by Ikeja Local Government; a clear demonstration of the council’s commitment to promoting art, culture, and creative expression within the Ikeja community.
Ikeja Council Chairman, Comrade Dauda was accompanied by the former Leader of the Ikeja Legislative Council, Hon. Adetoro, and Prince Adeyinka Illo, among other dignitaries.
The participation and support of the Ikeja Local Government under the leadership of Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD) is a testament to an administration that is in tune with youth culture, entertainment, and the promotion of artistic talent as a means of community development and unity.
