Comrade Dauda Attends First Jummat Service As Chairman

Today, the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Lagos State, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), attended his first Jummat service since assuming office at the Ikeja Central Mosque located within the Council Secretariat.
The service, led by Imam Raji, commenced at 2:15pm and was well attended by Muslim faithful, staff, and community members. A special prayer session was held for the Chairman, seeking Allah’s guidance, wisdom, protection, and success for his administration.
Comrade Dauda expressed gratitude to the Muslim community for their warm reception and emphasized that his administration is committed to carrying everyone along, regardless of religion or background, as part of the inclusive spirit of the I.K.E.J.A Agenda.
“I believe in starting with God and staying with God. Your prayers today mean a lot. Together, we will move Ikeja forward,” he said.
