Comrade Dauda Hosts Ikeja APC Women Leaders

In an atmosphere filled with cheers and camaraderie, the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), received the APC Women Leaders and their Assistants from across Ikeja at his Ikeja House office.

 

The delegation, ably led by the Ikeja LGA Women Leader, Alhaja Sidikat Illo, came in their numbers to congratulate and solidarise with the Chairman on his assumption of office. They commended Comrade Dauda for hitting the ground running, noting that his achievements in just three weeks in office are equivalent to what others might accomplish in a year.

The women leaders further appealed to the Council Chairman to carry them along in his programmes, assuring him of the total support of women across the six wards in Ikeja Local Government. They pledged their prayers and solidarity for the continuedccess of his administration.

 

In his response, Comrade Dauda expressed deep gratitude to the women leaders for their unwavering commitment to the party and their pivotal role in mobilising support that secured victory at the polls.

 

He assured them that he would not let the good women of Ikeja down, reiterating that the I.K.E.J.A Agenda has lofty plans that place women at the forefront of the administration’s goals.

He further urged them to remain steadfast in their support and prayers, stressing that with their continued backing, every resident of Ikeja will experience Better Days.

Also at the meeting were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Abisola Omisore (OMITUNTUN) and the Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Hon. Adeniyi Adeyi (Baba Oja)
