Comrade Dauda Meets With CDC & CDA Executives, Rallies Support For APC Membership E-Registration

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), convened a strategic meeting with Community Development Committee (CDC) executives and Community Development Association (CDA) chairmen across Ikeja Local Government to mobilize grassroots support for the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) membership e-registration exercise.

The meeting, which took place at the Chairman’s office in Ikeja House, had in attendance all CDC executives and CDA chairmen within the local government. It was convened to strengthen community-level engagement ahead of the conclusion of the APC membership e-registration exercise, scheduled to close on Saturday, 31st January 2026.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman AKOD emphasized the importance of active participation in the registration process, describing the APC as the largest political party in Africa with a strong commitment to inclusive governance and grassroots development. He urged the community leaders to mobilize residents within their respective communities to take advantage of the ongoing registration, noting that being a registered party member offers numerous political and developmental benefits.

In their responses, the CDC and CDA executives expressed appreciation to the Chairman for the engagement and assured him of their readiness to return to their communities to strategize and mobilize residents en masse. They pledged to work collectively to ensure that a significant number of community members register and become card-carrying members of the All Progressives Congress.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with a shared resolve to deepen grassroots participation and strengthen the party’s presence across Ikeja Local Government.
