Comrade Dauda Receives Ikeja PCRC On Courtesy Visit

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), today received members of the Ikeja Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) on a courtesy visit at the Council Secretariat.

The delegation was led by their Patron, Otunba Anthony Isaac, and the Chairman, Chief Anthony Obi. They commended the Executive Chairman, Comrade Dauda for his sterling performance within a short period in office and congratulated him on the successful celebration of his 100 Working Days in Office.

The PCRC leadership particularly lauded the Chairman’s commitment to human capital development, enhanced security of lives and property, promotion of businesses across Ikeja, and notable strides in the improvement of primary education.

In his response, Chairman AKOD expressed appreciation to the PCRC for their dedication and unwavering commitment to fostering safer communities in Ikeja. He emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration and synergy between the Committee and the Local Government, especially in the areas of effective community intelligence gathering and strengthened security architecture to further safeguard lives and property within the local government.

Present at the meeting were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Abiola Omisore, and the Council Manager, Mrs. Juliana Taiwo Odubeko. Also part of the PCRC delegation was a prominent APC apex leader in Ikeja, Apostle Olowoporoku, who applauded the Council Chairman, Comrade Dauda for his unprecedented developmental strides and people-oriented initiatives across Ikeja.
