Cross River Police Boss, CP Olusegun Omosanyin Orders Anti Cultism Officers To Vomit Extorted Money 

The Commissioner of Police, Cross River State Command, CP Olusegun Omosanyin, may have made a clear statement that it is no longer business as usual following his decisive action on the erring officers to vomit money extorted from victims in the state.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the Police boss, who just resumed duty as CP about four weeks ago, has charged his officers to discharge their duty with high sense of professionalism as he will not condone any form of corruption from the officers in the state.

CP Omosanyin stated this while sensitizing his officers on clarity, transparency and professionalism following a recent rumour involving some officers in the State Command.

He warned that he will not tolerate any form of crime and criminality at the same time unethical behaviour from officers seen perpetrating actions not in line with the code and conduct of a Police officer.

He gave the warning on the heels of complaint regarding extortion by operatives of anti-cultism on some youngsters recently, which was swiftly addressed as CP Omosanyin ensuredthe monies extorted were refunded.

Some parents, who had expressed worry over the safety of their wards in the surrounding universities of the State, have renewed hope in the present CP of the state, in assurance that their wards will enjoy security and safety as against previous fears on reports of mishandling and extortion in years.

The Commissioner of Police also noted that there will be no tolerance or peaceful existence for criminal elements amongst the citizens if found culpable of a criminal act after due investigation.

He said that his office is open to receive valuable information about certain concerning issues, for this ensures that the residents’ interests are not compromised or jeopardized in the state.

“If you see something, say something,” he added.

CP Olusegun Omosanyin stated that the Command is prepared to serve Cross River State wholeheartedly in order to ensure the safety of the people.

 He warned that indigenes should abide by the rules and regulations governing the state, avoid late-night walks, ensure safety and security measures in their environs, cease from criminal activities, and avoid situations capable of breaching public peace.
