We Didn’t Receive Money From Ambode – Hon Faleke

Posted on September 27, 2018

The lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon James Abiodun Faleke, has reacted to the news making the rounds that he collected money from the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode.

According to a statement by Hon Faleke’s media team made available to P.M.EXPRESS by Hon Edward Samuel Aragbonfoh, they said that their attention has been drawn to a malicious tweet via a twitter handle @lagos_issues alleging that their principal, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke and their highly revered leader and South West Women Leader of their party, APC, Chief Mrs. Kemi Nelson, had collected huge sum of money out of the purported N5.5bn said to have doled out by the incumbent Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode towards the upcoming guber primaries in Lagos.

“We want to state categorically that this is a campaign of calumny against our leaders in Ikeja and we know that it is the handiwork of political detractors and evil men and women of bad politics”

“These two leaders have been in Osun State for some days now carrying out the party duties to ensure that APC comes out victorious at the rerun which is taking place today in Osun”

“We want the public to disregard in its entirety this news and to know that our leaders are people of integrity who are core disciples of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and will not take any financial inducement to work against any decision of the party” Hon Faleke’s media team said.
