Don’t We Love Sensationalism Sensationalism In My Dear Country Nigeria?

‘Sensationalism’ Meaning: The presentation of stories in a way that is intended to provoke public interest or excitement, at the expense of accuracy.

How many people have bothered to inquire how much it costs to produce and distribute a 50kg bag of cement in Nigeria?

A big loaf of bread is N900 – N1,000 today. It once sold for N500. Why?

A 900kg Blue Band Margarine is N3,120 today. It used to be less than N2,000. Why?

Personally, we have a fully equipped (PACS) Rice Mill in Nassarawa State that is currently under lock and key by us. Why?

With the degree of less than deep thinking of many of us Nigerians on almost every serious issue, we really have a long way yet to go to uhuru.

We simply love ultra sensationalism without substance, facts and accuracy in addition to arrogant ignorance and tribal and religious jingoism and bigotry.
