Dr. Adesola Taiwo’s Demise Is A Colossal Loss – Says AKOD

The Secretary to Ikeja Local Government and Chairman, Scribe 57, Lagos State, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has expressed shock and sadness over the demise of a Political Chieftain and medical icon, Dr. Adesola Taiwo. 

In his condolence message, Comrade Dauda said, “It was with a deep shock that I received the news of the demise of our great leader, a political icon, highly revered community enthusiast, an accomplished medical doctor, a courageous fighter and grassroots mobilizer, Dr. Adesola Taiwo, who passed on Friday, 27th September, 2024”.

“It is painful to have lost such a rare gem like him at a time like this that we need him most. But who are we to question the Almighty God, the giver of life.

However, we are consoled by the fact that Dr. Taiwo lived a most inspiring, impactful, rewarding and fulfilled life while on earth. He touched many lives positively and cared profusely for the needy and the helpless.”

“Dr. Taiwo was a visionary political leader of repute who lived a life of honour with an indelible mark in the political landscape of Ikeja Federal Constituency and Lagos State at large.”

“Throughout his illustrious career as an uncommon medical practitioner and a political leader of no mean stature, he selflessly dedicated himself to the cause of humanity and public service.”

“Dr. Adesola stood for equity, justice and fair play in politics and championed many causes to transform the lives of many people and to ensure that they fulfill their God-given destiny.”

“His unwavering commitment to the growth of Ikeja, the progress of communities, the elevation of Lagos State to greater heights and the advancement of our common humanity earned him much respect and the admiration of all and these exploits carved a niche for him in the annals of our political history.”

“We recognize his enduring contributions to democracy as well as his exemplary leadership over the years.
It is for this reason that we realized how difficult it is to replace such a great icon in a short while.”

“Without mincing word, we have just lost a compassionate leader, a man of courage and boldness, a brilliant tactician and strategist,  a consummate politician and one of our apex leaders in Ikeja progressive political family.”

“Our Esteemed Dr. Adesola Taiwo, we love you dearly but Christ loves you more. Rest in perfect peace in the bosom of your Maker.

Your memory is our inspiration and your legacy would remain our motivation to contribute more to the betterment of the society” AKOD concluded.
