Ebira Youth Congress Passes Vote Of Confidence On Kogi Gov, Yahaya Bello

Ebira Youth Congress, EYC, in its general Congress session held at the Okene Local Government Secretariat on Sunday, 22nd August, 2021, passes a Vote of Confidence on the leadership aptitude of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Kogi State governor for the proactive responsiveness activated by evacuating Kogi students from Jos Plateau in the wake of the fatal brouhaha engulfing the city.

The Congress session as presided over by her President-General, Comrade Obiyo Ateiza Aliyu took this unanimous stand in appreciation of the governor for the show of patriotism and unshaken love for the youths and their beloved education.

‘Since crisis knows no clan, the stray arrow of it can therefore unleash terror on unsuspecting victims, which is why the youths are so glad and prayerful for the benefactor to prosper in all his endeavours.

“It was equally an occasion of opportunity for Ebira youths to appeal very passionately to His Excellency, the governor to redeem the pledge he made to Ebira Education Trust Fund, which was launched at the maiden Ebira Education Summit held at Lokoja in December 2020 as the unavailability of the pledged sum by His Excellency and that of Kogi Central appointees grossly incapacitates the Board of Trustees, and has become a worrisome phenomenon as it stands.

“A lot of goodwill messages trailed the extraordinary session which ended on a productive note,” said Musa Otohinoyi, EYC Director of Publicity 1.
