ECAS, Kotech Dethrone Samjason As Alimosho League Enters Week 11

After defeating Kedge Sports in week 10 in the ongoing Alimosho football coaches council league, ECAS have jumped into number one on the league table.

Before the league started, nobody gave ECAS a chance to top the league but with the 3-1 humiliating defeat against Kedge Sports last week, the club is on top of the league after defending champions, Samjason failed to win their last match at home.

ECAS have played nine matches, won six, drew one and lost two. ECAS have 19 points, while Kotech played nine, won five, drew two and lost two occupy the second position with 17 points.

Defending champions, Samjason place the third position after playing nine matches, won four, drew four and lost one with 16 points. Samjason played 1-1 at home against Iyaloja General United, IGU in week ten which took them down on the table.

All the top three clubs still have an outstanding game to play. Layenda and Newtown G are rooted on the bottom of the league having garnered eight and seven points respectively.

Meanwhile, the league has entered week 11 this week as Kedge Sports welcome H2U on Tuesday morning at Asiriabo football field, Ijanikin, while Bucknor would be at away against IGU on Tuesday evening at Igando palace playground.

Action resumes on Wednesday when top table leader, ECAS host NISSI at Awori Grammar School, Agboju. Two matches have been lined up on Friday as Kotech would be a guest to Layenda at Ansar Un Deen School, Lafenwa, while defending champions, Samjason would be at home against Flying Wings.
