Ekwunife Admitted To Lies In Leaked Phone Conversation – Says Ofobuike
Anambra State born Lagos-based insurance broker, Mr. Eugene Ofobuike, has decried the level of mudslinging and name-calling in the Anambra political space following the forthcoming gubernatorial election in his home state.
Ofobuike said that while he, like many observers, were trying to come to terms with the 4–minute video trending online as released by the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Uche Ekwunife, which was a purported follow up to Gov Soludo’s comments days, another round of disturbing thought was through up by a leaked phone conversation said to have been between the Deputy Governorship Candidate and a WhatsApp user.
According to Ofobuike, in the leaked phone conversation, the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate, Senator Uche Ekwunife, was said to have admitted to not having any form of dignity, and fabricating stories against Governor Soludo. In the same phone conversation, she admitted to fabricating puerile statements against Governor Soludo and would extend same to his wife.
“For me, I believe that Ekwunife’s response stemmed from Soludo’s bold claim that she parades a fake PhD. This is typical of one attempting to use dirty talks to cover issues. If the content of that leaked conversation was actually from her, then she is not a character to be envied by any stretch of the imagination. Honestly, her frustrations are avoidable.”
“First, she has to make a fresh video proving that her PhD was earned from a recognized and reputable university. This is the crux of the matter. I just hope we don’t witness another round of gutter presentation from any of the gubernatorial hopefuls. Anambra is bigger than all these.”
“Human hypocrisies manifest within the context of our vested interests. On social media, we all have our entry behaviour on how we launch our narrative, sustain it and achieve our purpose. Some scoundrels come online to parade themselves as activists to curry attention, when they get the attention they switch to their actual motive and before you know what’s happening they go full throttle on a speed lane of self defacement.”
“Personally, I have been expecting issue based electioneering campaigns, but that is not what we are getting especially from the opposition. They should go back to the drawing board and come out to convince Ndi Anambra with their manifestos and action plans not gutter presentations here and there.”
