The legislator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife, has commissioned and handed over a new block of classrooms to Community Secondary School, Ukpo, in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The Local Government is part of Senator Ekwunife’s Constituency.
In her remarks, Ekwunife said the new classroom block is one of her many interventions in education, insisting that conducive learning environment remains one of the important ways to improve teacher-student engagement.
The lawmaker, who explained that the event was in line with her commitment towards ensuring that facilities in public schools are upgraded, and offering school children a space that promotes meaningful learning experiences, said her interaction with the Principal of the school, Mrs. Ngozi Rita Egbutu, over growing population of students in the school, necessitated the move to increase classroom capacity of the school.
She assured of continued focus on offering her constituents representation that addresses their yearnings.
