Ekwunife Congratulates Anambra Newly Recruited Teachers, Commends Soludo

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, has congratulated the newly recruited teachers in Anambra State presented with their appointment letters by Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, today, 2nd December, 2022.

 

Ekwunife described Education as a critical ingredient to economic development and growth and noted that job creation reduces poverty, youth restiveness and improves the local economy.

 

The Federal lawmaker commended Governor Soludo for fulfilling one of his campaign promises, adding that the gesture is rare amongst his contemporaries. She noted that Soludo’s passion for the development of the educational sector remains unrivaled and deserves to be emulated.

While appreciating the transparency and credibility process of the recruitment exercise, the A-grade lawmaker urged the teachers to show professionalism and dedication and be focused on bringing the best out of students who are the future generations of leaders.

The Chairman Senate Committee on Science, Technology, and Innovation wished the teachers the best in service to the state.
