The meeting, which was presided over by the SouthEast representative in the Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee and former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani, sought to harmonise the various positions and interests in order to ensure that the party spoke with one voice at the congress.

In line with this, the Adhoc Zoning Committee headed by Chief Okenwa and Hon. Ugwuegede submitted their report to the members present, who adopted the zoning arrangement as suggested by the committee.
