Erika ‘PR Diva’ Enyolu Initiates Back To School Drive For Educational Materials

Posted on October 1, 2020

Erika Enyolu popularly known as ‘The PR Diva’ has announced that she will be launching a project tagged “Back To School Project” to raise funds to procure school equipment, books and educational learning materials for donation to select public primary and secondary schools in Uga, Anambra State, Nigeria.

Erika said the aim of this initiative is to raise enough money, school essentials and educational materials for over 20 public primary and secondary schools in and around Aguata Local Government Area.

“Education is a key factor for the development of any State and the only way to ensure the state is literate and progressive is by helping students receive quality education,” she said.

Erika further stated that most parents who can afford it, send their children to private schools which are more equipped and better funded than public schools.

She said this happens because most public schools which are government owned and are mostly overpopulated and underfunded.

“So this initiative is my own little way of supporting the efforts of government and as a personal social responsibility initiative. Government alone cannot fund development and therefore need private sector participation and assistance,” Erika said.

She therefore called on all well meaning corporate bodies and individuals to support her efforts with donations either in cash or in-kind.

“Whatever is realized from this project will be used to purchase and provide exercise books, reading materials, text books, class desks and other basic supplies, which will be distributed to selected public primary and secondary schools around Uga and other parts of Aguata Local Government,” she added.

Erika Enyolu aka ‘PR Diva’ is currently based in Toronto, Canada.

She is an award-winning producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist.

She is also the CEO & Founder of entertainment and public relations agency, PR Diva Communications.
