Etu-Iwase Political Movement Launches Cash Scheme In Lagos

The S.A Chieftancy LILG, Hon Moshood Olawale Eletu, the founder Etu-Iwase Political Movement, has launched cash gifts for the festive season to the populace on Lagos Island.
Eletu, at the maiden edition of ETU-IWASE PM, held at Lagos Island, noted that the initiative themed: “Community Better Life,” is a community socio-economic scheme to empower and support vulnerable and well-being of the elderly citizens.
The founder stressed that over 250 beneficiaries selected from the Lagos Island Local Government Area were given a sum of N5,000 each, which was targeted at the vulnerable ones within the constituency, including widows, the unemployed youths and the elderly.
Eletu said that the gesture was to fulfill l the spirit of giving during this festive season enabling the beneficiaries and their families to celebrate the Yuletide season with ease and joy.
The event, which had the representative of Lagos Island Chairman, Hon Tijani Olusi Adetoyese, APC Lagos lsland Party Secretary, Alhaji Moshood Ope, who presented the cash gift to the beneficiaries, said that the gesture was to complement the efforts of the Federal, State and Local Government and bringing these ideas to the Ward level to encourage more inclusiveness and engender a compassionate society.
According to him, “This is to cushion the effect of the economic situation and to alleviate the burdens of our esteemed elders during this festive period”.
He charged everyone to embrace a life of hope, prioritise their health and pray for the country and the new administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
APC Lagos Island Party Chairman, Alhaji A.G.O Sodiq, commended the initiative and noted that events like this was held recently by First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, adding this as another avenue for others to also benefit.
The beneficiaries rejoiced and appreciated the commendable gesture of Hon Moshood Olawale Eletu for the launch of “Community Better Life” for his political group on Lagos Island.
