Excitement As Senator Ekwunife Facilitates Erosion Control Project In Ifitedunu

The Super Performing Senator, Uche Ekwunife (Iyom), has facilitated the construction of an Erosion Control Project at Izuchukwu Obi Road, Ifitedunu in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The project is one of the numerous community development driven projects facilitated by Senator Ekwunife in her constituency.

Inspecting the ongoing work at the project site, the Anambra Central Senatorial District Liaison Office Project Monitoring committee led by the Former Commissioner for Women Affairs Anambra State, Lady Henrietta Agbata, were received by the Vice President General of Ifitedunu, Chikelue Chinweze, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Dunukofia Local Government, Chigbo Dibiezue, community and PDP party leaders of Dunukofia LGA and Ifitedunu community, and others.

Speaking during the handover of project documents to representatives of the community, Lady Agbata reiterated Senator Ekwunife’s resolve to attract developmental projects to all the communities under her jurisdiction. She described the erosion project as necessary in ensuring the free-flow of flood water on the road. She further urged the people of the community to continue to put the Senator in their prayers as she strives to bring meaningful development to the Senatorial zone.

In his reaction, the Vice President General of Ifitedunu, Mr. Chikelue Chinweze appreciated Senator Ekwunife for the erosion control project. He described her as a great friend of Ifitedunu people. According to Mr Chinweze, Ifitedunu people are solidly behind the Senator in her quest to deliver purposeful representation to her constituents and are convinced that she has what it takes to assume higher responsibilities in the State.

On his part, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Dunukofia Local Government, Chigbo Dibiezue described the project as a project initiated by a focused and seasoned Legislator and committed party woman. He noted that Senator Ekwunife has taken a bold step by attracting the project to Ifitedunu and expressed optimism that she will do greater things for the community and other communities in the LGA and the constituency at large.

Also present at the event include, Deputy Chairman Dunukofia PDP, Hon Akpakachukwu Nnulu, PDP Chairman Ifitedunu Ward II, Ugochukwu Nwako, PDP Chairman Akwa Ward, Stanley Emeh, Dunukofia Local Government Coordinator Senator Uche Ekwunife Campaign Organization (SUECO), Ikechukwu Ochibie, Ifitedunu Ward I Coordinator SUECO, Gabby Mmaduchie, Ifitedunu Ward II Coordinator SUECO, Cyril Nnome, Akwa Ward Coordinator SUECO, Chukwuma Anataogwu, Legislative Assistant to the Senator, Mrs Ifeyinwa Chinwuko, and others.
