Eze Chika Nwokedi Preaches Peace As He Celebrates Birthday With Members Of Ndi Igbo Buru Otu Association

The Chairman of Council of Ezendigbo in Lagos State, Eze ( Dr) Chika Nwokedi, has called for peace among Nigerians as he celebrated his birthday with the members of Ndi Igbo Buru Otu Association born in August.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Eze Nwokedi, who is also the Eze Okpoko of Obodoukwu town in Imo State, stated that there is need for Nigerians to avoid violence, live in peace and harmony, noting that it is the only way to move forward in Nigeria.
Eze Nwokedi stated this at the National Secretariat of Ndi Igbo Buru Otu in Ijegun, Lagos, during his birthday celebrations with his members.
Many dignitaries attended the event including the president of Igbo Speaking Community, Lagos State, Chief Sunday Udeh, top Senior Police Officers from various Commands, members of Eze Chika Nwokedi’s cabinet, friends and wellwishers who came to honour him.
Eze Nwokedi explained that he marked the birthday to thank and appreciate God for His blessings and guidance over the years.
He explained that God has been kind to him and his family over the years by raising him from nobody to somebody and crowned him a king.
Nwokedi explained that he takes his birthday seriously because the month of August is unique as it is the period he usually receives aggressive blessings from God.
He recalled that he was born in August and most of the good things he achieved usually come in the month of August, which he had observed over the years.
“I was born in August, got married in August, came to Lagos in August, got breakthrough and contracts, got crowned as a king etc all in the month of August” he said.
He explained that he usually uses his birthday to remember the less privileged in the society in order to put smile on their faces, which he will embark on from Monday in continuation of his birthday celebration.
He explained that the birthday in Ndi Igbo Buru Otu Association is unique because the members usually use it to show love to members, present gifts and for entertainment.
Nwokedi explained that those born in August decided to move the birthday celebration in the association to the next level by presenting three cups for competition among those born in other months and at the end of the year, the association will present the cups to the winners with tag prizes for 1st position N150, 000 second position N100,000 and N50,000 for third position.
He also explained that the 11 members celebrating with him also presented plates, flasks, spoons, tables and baskets to the association for the birthday celebration and other events as a way of uplifting the association’s birthday celebration, which bring happiness, joy and love among members.
They also presented different gifts to the members including bags of rice, clothes and caps to show love to the members and in returns the members will also show the celebrants love by presenting different gifts to them.
Those who attended the event commended Eze Nwokedi for his philanthropic gesture to humanity and prayed God to continue to protect and give him long life.
His amiable wife, Ugoeze Pastor Tessy Nwokedi, described Eze Nwokedi as a man who has passion for giving and would sacrifice his own comfort to please those in need without looking back.
She explained that when a woman is marries to that kind of husband, she must have the patience and perseverance to keep the marriage and understand that what he does is a call which no human being can stop him from.
Ugoeze Nwokedi said she will continue to pray for him for long life and prosperity so that he will continue to get the means to assist the people which she described as Eze Nwokedi’s core ministry.
The Igbo Speaking Community President, Chief Sunday Udeh, described Eze Chika Nwokedi as foremost philanthropist, who cherishes touching the lives of the people and prayed God to give him long life and prosperity.
In a similar manner, former president of Igbo Speaking Community, Chief Sunday Eze, commended Eze Nwokedi for his contributions to humanity, noting that he had touched so many lives especially the less privileged in the society. He prayed that God should continue to protect and guide him.
It was the same for members of Ndigbo Buru Otu Association and his cabinet Chiefs, who described Eze Nwokedi as a man with milk of human kindness, love and passion for humanity.
