The Ezer Foundation To Celebrate African Child On Children’s Day In Lagos

A. Lagos- based Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), The Ezer Foundation will be using this year’s Children’s Day on 27 May to celebrate and give health therapy to the school children in Lagos State.
P.M. EXPRESS reports that the main focus of the one day event, which holds at the Salvation Army Children School in Surulere is the health talk (personal hygiene) and dental check for the children who are 500 in numbers.
The organisers said that beyond giving the participating children physical materials, the Ezer Foundation will also educate their young minds focusing on neatness, smartness and confidence in the campaign.
In a fanfare environment, the children will have access to health talks from different invited speakers, games, dental check, plenty foods to eat, face painting, goody bags and other attractive packages spiced up with music.
The Ezer Foundation believes that Children’s Day is all about healthy childhood and how the rights and freedoms of the children are protected in order to ensure that they grow to healthy adults.
It is a day of celebration and more importantly an opportunity for the Ezer Foundation to create awareness and inspire the children on the importance of being confident, neat and be smart.
“The greatest legacy we can leave our children is enough happiness to fill their hearts and more love than they can spend in a lifetime,” Mr Ayodele Oni, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation.
The event is facilitated with support from Honeywell, Greenlife Pharmaceuticals, Clinix, Aquafina Water, Lifebuoy and Carex
P.M. EXPRESS reports that the Ezer Foundation is out to assist indigent children in areas of clothing and other basic supports to eradicate poverty in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, the 1st Vice President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Chairman of Lagos State Football Association is the Chairman Board of Trustees of the Foundation.
