Family Organises Free Health Services Ahead Final Burial Of Chief Mrs Deborah Adeyoriola Ujayoriade Ajanaku Makun

One of the impactful community programmes lined up for the one-week funeral ceremony for the chartered trader and senior wife of the late business mogul, Chief Jimoh Ajanaku Makun, late Chief Mrs. Deborah Adeyoriola Ujayoriade Ajanaku Makun, the Iya Isale Ijo of the Methodist Church Nigeria, Owo Diocese, Oke-Owo Circuit, Owo Faith Cathedral, Fajuyi Road, Owo, starts this morning with Free Health Services for the densely populated Uka community and its adjoining 25 streets and six Community Development Associations towards the Oke-Ogun axis of Owo.
The medical team will be led by the Chief Medical Director of Deborah Multi-Specialist Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, Dr. Charles Atimoh, who was also Mama Deborah Ujayoriade’s personal physician, along with other doctors, nurses, and medical personnel. Different types of tests will be conducted, and drugs will be given out free of charge.
The exercise commences this morning, Saturday, April 11th, 2926 at 6:30 a.m. and closes at 6:30 p.m. at Chief Mrs. Deborah Adeyoriola Ujayoriade Ajanaku Makun’s residence on Surulere Street.
It will be recalled that Mama Ujayoriade, aged 104 years, built her personal house on Surulere Street, off Aruwajoye Street, Uka, Owo, in the late 1970s. She moved in during the 1980s and became one of the leading lights in the community until her passing on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
