A word of advice has been given to the teams participating in the ongoing Fasanya Gold Cup to be disciplined before, during, and after their matches.

This was disclosed by match coordinator, Kayode Sobande, while speaking with our correspondent said the participating teams ought to be disciplined, noting that any team that violates the rules would be punished accordingly.

Sobande, who commended the participating teams for the spirit of sportsmanship, admonished them to shun vices during the competition.

“The organising committee is happy with the standard of play by the teams since competition kicked off.

“We are moving to the crucial stage, and we want to appeal to the teams to shun football violence and embrace spirit of sportsmanship throughout the tournament,” he said.

Action resumes this morning as Favourite face Heyfash by 8am, Well All Stars tackle Fidson by 10am, Gold FC battle Acme Dynamite by 12noon as Community Fac confront Breakthrough FC by 2pm.
