Father In Police Net For Allegedly Sleeping With Biological Daughter

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Olorunsogo area of Bode Saadu, Moro Local Council  of Kwara State, where they reside.

However, the daughter later revealed the act and Moshood was arrested. He was consequently charged before the Presiding Magistrate, Abdul Yekeen of the Upper Area Court in Kwara State, for allegedly having sexual intercourse with his only daughter.

The complainant (name withheld) alleged that Moshood has been having sexual intercourse with her, and threatening to jail or kill her if she dares expose it to anybody.

She told Court that it has become her father’s habit, noting that she is the defendant’s only daughter, and that is why her mother has refused to return home after they divorced.

“My father’s second wife has once caught us in the act and made a joke of me alleging ritualistic activity,” she told the Court.

Moshood pleaded not guilty.

The defendant’s Counsel, Toyin Onaolapo, then asked the Court to grant him bail.

The Presiding Magistrate granted the defendant bail with conditions and ordered his remand in custody at the correctional centre pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.

The matter was adjourned till 15th April, 2024, for hearing.
