Earlier today, the Member Representing Aguata Federal Constituency in the Green Chambers of the National Assembly and Frontline APC Senatorial Candidate for Anambra South, Rt. Hon Chukwuma Michael Umeoji, KSJI, joined the entire family of Okoye at Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State to mourn the gruesome demise of their son, Hon. Okechukwu Isaac Okoye who upon his death was the Member Representing Aguata II State Constituency in the State House of Assembly.

While commiserating with the family, the Federal Lawmaker, who led Anambra State Committee of Friends, to mourn Hon. Okey Di Okay described his gruesome demise as a bizarre situation that Ndi Anambra has never witnessed before.

“The hideous death of my brother, Hon. Okechukwu Okoye, was a bizarre situation that is entirely alien to Ndi Anambra, it was with sadness that we received the heartbreaking loss of this fine gentleman, his passing away remains a very big loss to everyone of us, but we acknowledge that the almighty God knows the best.”

“Hon. Okay was a man who’s at peace with everyone, a peace loving person who detests trouble and anything controversial. He was a strong soldier of Christ and a strong member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Choir, Isuofia. His gruesome death wasn’t what anyone would wish or expect for him but we can’t question God neither can we challenge or fight him.”

“The happiness and joy of everyone who knows Hon. Okay is that he lived a very pure life and there’s a reward for that. We pray that the almighty God in His infinite Mercies grants his loving soul peaceful repose and to the family he left behind, the fortitude to bear the loss.”
