Though the result was bad for the team, Nigerians did not abandon their darling Super Eagles in the crucial Round of 16 encounter against Tunisia in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.

Reports from all the viewing centres put in place by the Lagos State Government for the residents to enjoy live matches of the tournament say the 10 centres were full to capacity as Lagosians came in their large numbers to drum support for Coach Austin Eguavoen and his Eagles.

At Ikorodu, the Director General, Lagos State Sports Commission, Mr. Toyin Gafaar Bolowotan joined football enthusiasts at Itaelewa viewing centre to watch the ‘war of the Eagles’ where Nigeria battled Tunisia.
