Glitz, Glamour As Biola Alabi Media Premieres Banana Island Ghost

In what could best be described as a dazzling night of glitz and glamour, the crème of Lagos social and creative establishments on Sunday night were at the exquisite Harbour Point Event Center in Victoria Island, Lagos for the official Casino Royale-themed world premiere of the movie, Banana Island Ghost (B.I.G).

The highly anticipated movie was screened before an excited audience who gave thumb ups to Biola Alabi, CEO, Biola Alabi Media and executive producer of the movie.

The guest list read that of the high and mighty including Sir Willie Anumudu and wife, Supo Shasore, former Lagos Attorney General and Justice Commissioner, Mr. Nduka Obaigbena, Publisher, ThisDay/Arise; Mako Alabi; Ruth Osime; and Colette Otuesho.

Also on the red carpet included cast members Ali Nuhu, Tomiwa Edun, Saidi Balogun, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Akah Nnani, Uche Jombo, Damilola Adegbite, Dorcas Fapson, Ozzy Agu, Lord Frank, Makida Moka and Bimbo Ademoye. Other celebrity guests spotted on the red carpet included Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Omawumi, OC Ukeje, Michelle Dede, Inidima Okojie, Eku Edewor, Freeze, Osas Ighodaro Ajibade, Ill Rhymz, Lamide Akintobi, Beverly Naya, Linda Ejiofor, Tomi Odunsi, Beverly Osu, BBA Stars Bisola, Kemen and Uriel, and many more.

Banana Island Ghost, an action-comedy film, stars multi-talented Chioma ‘Chigul’ Omeruah as Ijeoma, paired with Patrick Diabuah as The Ghost.

Chigul has three days to fall in love and do what it takes to save her father’s house in Banana Island from the bank who would be coming to reclaim it in three days if the facility owe by her father is not settled.

Banana Island Ghost is written and directed by BB Shasore and produced by Omorinsojo Spaine and Tolu Olusoga. The executive producers for the film are Biola Alabi and Derin Adeyokunnu, while co-executive producers are Dr. Ayo Osunrinade; Michael Ugwu, the founder of FreeMe Digital; Adenike Adekanbi of HTB Entertainment Studios; Niyi Toluwalope and Basheer Tosin Ashafa of Tri-Equity Capital.

Chigul

 

Speaking on the starring role of Chigul in the movie, Biola Alabi said, “Chigul is an exceptional talent and in Banana Island Ghost. From her first moment on screen, she captivates the audience. Movie lovers all over will thoroughly enjoy watching her in the movie when released at the cinemas.”

Banana Island Ghost is the first from a slate of five films by BAM-NEMSIA Pictures, a co-production partnership between Biola Alabi Media (BAM) and Nemsia Films.

Movie lovers will experience more of this action packed and comedy filled flick when it hits cinemas on August 4 2017.

It will be distributed by FilmOne and available at all the cinemas nationwide.
