Gov Douye Diri Was Sent By Almighty God To Accomplish Specific Assignments In Bayelsa State And For Bayelsans

In the past 6 years, he has eliminated the retrogressive concept of “DIFFICULT TERRAIN”.

Bayelsa State was over 75% riverine and those critical areas were only accessed through river.

Today, Bayelsa State is less than 25% riverine. Most parts of the state are accessed by roads that are now criss-crossing the length and breadth of the state.

Gov. Douye Diri has successfully registered Bayelsa State on the World Aviation Map among states that have airlines.

Instead of buying a private jet for government use alone, he bought commercial aircrafts so that average Bayelsans and others could travel on them to and fro the state.

Bayelsa State now has weekly flight schedules to and fro Abuja, Lagos and other notable destinations.

Bayelsa State is occupying a very enviable position as one of the fewest states in Nigeria that own independent power project that is now supplying uninterrupted electricity to Yenagoa residents and its environ.

Because of the above positive development, there is influx of people, goods and services to the state.

Bayelsa is also adjudged as the SAFEST STATE in Nigeria due to the effective Community Policing Strategy. Many states now reference and even emulate the Policing System in Bayelsa State.

I can go on and on to highlight the positive impacts of our God-sent Miracle Governor who was sent on a very special mission to reform, transform and reposition our great state.

It is my fervent prayer that God will continue to bless, guide, guard and protect Very Distinguished Senator Douye Diri and help him to finish very strong.
