Gov. Soludo Flags Off ACPN Convention As Ruzu Herbal Products Continues To Redefine Herbal Medicines

The Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, flagged off the ACPN convention yesterday at the International Convention Centre, Awka, Anambra State.

The theme of this year’s conference is ‘TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION AND PERSONALISED CARE: THE FUTURE OF COMMUNITY PHARMACY PRACTICE”.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the conference, which is holding from July 22nd to July 27th, jointly brought together community pharmacists from all parts of Nigeria, manufacturers and other parties in the pharmaceutical industries. It is a platform for the stakeholders to interact and network.

The Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN) is a technical arm of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) with the aim of overseeing the activities of the community pharmacists. This includes empowering them to embrace the best pharmacy practice and collaborate with other stakeholders, drug information services, provision of primary healthcare services, advocacy, capacity building, members protection, welfare, etc.
