Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel has sworn in the new Commissioners and Special Advisers who were screened by the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.

The event which took place at the State Banquet Hall, Uyo saw 18 Commissioners and 2 Special Advisers take their oath of office.

The governor also assigned each one of them portfolios while the new exco members declare their support and loyalty to the State Government.

Those sworn in and their portfolios are:

5. Eno Ikpe – Investment, Commerce and Industries

7. Dr. Umoinyang – Agriculture
8. Arc. Ime Ekpo – Lands & Town Planning
9. Paul Alexander Udofia – Education
10. Charles Udo – Information and Strategy
11. Idorenyin Sunday Udo – Economic Devt, Planning and Manpower Development
12. Barr. Uwemedimo Nwoko – Justice
13. Nse Udo Essien – Science and Technology
14. Victor Antai – Culture and Tourism
15. Dr. Dominic Ukpong – Health
