Gov Uzodinma Flags Off Construction Of Owerri-Okigwe & Owerri-Orlu Roads

The Owerri-Okigwe and the Owerri-Orlu roads are top critical infrastructures on which various developmental projects anchor on. This road has thrown residents and passersby into untold hardship and has painted the state in bad light.

Because of its significance and the government’s resolve for quality reconstruction of the state, the Shared Prosperity administration of His Excellency the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma engaged in a Memorandum of Understanding with Julius Berger Construction Company, Dumez and Craneburg Construction Company for study, design and construction of the road offering lasting built.

Having completed the study and design, based on the procurement act, Craneburg was the most favorable to the State Government for the construction of these roads under same condition of quality and durability.

Craneburg Construction Company, a foremost indigenous Engineering Company with visibility across the length and breath of Nigeria, has been contracted by the Shared Prosperity administration of His Excellency the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma for the construction of the Owerri-Okigwe and Owerri-Orlu roads.

Craneburg Construction Company is reputed for quality engineering constructions evident in the their flagship projects vis-à-vis: Epe Phase I and Epe Phase II, Abule Egba Flyover (both in Lagos State), Benin-Ore Flyover (Ondo State), Ikwere Road, APM Terminal and Azikiwe Road (Rivers State), just to mention but a few.

The MoU signed with Julius Berger, Dumez and Craneburg was on the study and design of the roads while the construction of the roads has been contracted to Craneburg Construction Company based on the procurement act.

With the flag off and the mobilization to site, there is jubilation all over the state as more mobilizations would be witnessed in the days to come. Imo is now “Work in Progress” – all thanks to His Excellency the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma for his capacity and sagacity in reconstruction of Imo State.
