Governor & Wife Celebrate 32nd Wedding Anniversary With Community Mass

In a heartwarming display of love and devotion, Governor Chukwuma Soludo and his wife, Nonye, celebrated their thirty second wedding anniversary with a special mass held at their Country home, Isuofia, Aguata Local Government area.
The couple was joined by family, friends, and members of the community as they marked this significant milestone in their lives.
The mass was attended by hundreds of local residents who came to honor the couple’s commitment not only to each other but also to their community.
In his remarks, the Governor expressed gratitude for the love and support he has received throughout the years, both from his wife and the people.
“This celebration is not just about our marriage; it’s about the community that has supported us every step of the way,” said Governor Soludo. “We are truly blessed to have such a strong foundation built on love, faith, and service.”
Following the mass, the couple greeted attendees and shared heartfelt conversations about their journey together over the past three decades. They reminisced on the memories they’ve created, the challenges they’ve faced, and the joys of family life.
In a homily, the Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Paulinus EZEOKAFOR, called on christians to always depend on God in every circumstance and asked young couples to borrow a leaf from the Governor’s marriage to his wife.
The Prelate, who wondered from where the Governor access funds for the capital projects he is executing, and asked the Governor to continue the good works he is doing in the state.
The mass was attended by the Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim and his wife, the National Chairman of APGA, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, members of Anambra executive council, Traditional Ruler of Isuofia, Igwe Christopher Moghalu, top government officials, the clergy, among others.
