It was indeed the season of compassion and care at the City of Dominion and Deliverance Ministry International, a.k.a Grace Tabernacle in Egbe, when the Church remembered the less privileged in the society while mark its anniversary and thanksgiving in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the beneficiaries were widows, elderly ones, youths and the needy in the society.
This year’s anniversary and thanksgiving which was themed: Dominion and Power quoting the book of Psalms chapter 8 verses 6, was held at Church’s headquarters at Egbe, Lagos and witnessed many guests from within and outside who participated in the service and programme.
The founder and general overseer of the Church, Apostle Barr. Sherry Osakwe, explained that it was part of the vision of the Church to empower the less privileged in the society and to preach the gospel.
She said the empowerments are in three categories namely food items and Bibles for the elderly ones, widows and needy in the society to encourage them and give them hope then the Bibles were for new converts and believers who cannot afford Bibles.
The Second aspect of it is youth empowerment through internet business school and wealth creation through social media. She explained that it will help the youth to create wealth instead of engaging in fraudulent activities, armed robbery and other criminal activities.
Then the third aspect of the project is the women empowerment through skill acquisition, which will empower women to enable them support their husbands and family for better life.
Rev. Osakwe reiterated that the vision of the Church was very clear and whatever they were doing was purely through divine direction and that through the vision many lives have been touched and they accepted the gospel.
