Guard, 70, Arrested For Sexually Molesting Three Minors

A 70-year old security guard, Lawan Sani, has been arrested in Bauchi State for allegedly molesting three teenage girls in Unguwar Sarakuna, Bauchi, with the victims claiming he abused them more than 15 times after giving them N500. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports as was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Bauchi State Command, CSP Ahmed Wakil, who confirmed that the security guard was arrested “for multiple counts of sexual assault involving teenage girls”.
The image maker, CSP Wakil, stated that the case was reported on 1st September, 2025, at about 4:00hrs, after a distress call to the Police that an elderly man identified as “Lawan Sani, aged 70years of Bakin Kura area of Bauchi, was arrested on the spot in an attempt to commit an offence to wit, rape with a teenager aged 16years, of Unguwar Sarakuna Bauchi, in a house situated at Unguwar Sarakuna area of the state, where the old man serves as gate man.
According to the Police, during interrogation, the suspect confessed to having previously influenced the minor with N500 into the same residence.
“Investigation further revealed that the suspect has sexually molested two additional teenagers, names withheld, through the same techniques.”
Police said the three victims were invited for an interview in which the teenagers confirmed the allegations and further disclosed that the suspect had sexually molested them over 15 times on different occasions and usually threatened them against disclosing to others.
The Police stated that the suspect will be charged before the Court for the alleged offence under the Criminal Law of the State, which attracts several years of imprisonment but that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
