Heineken, the world’s leading international beer brand, successfully hosted the highly anticipated AMVCA Afterparty, bringing the week-long celebration of African film and fashion to an exciting close.
The event seamlessly blended fashion, music, and premium refreshment, reinforcing Heineken’s evolution and commitment to elevating culture.
Held on May 10 at Eko Convention Centre, the AMVCA Afterparty was a truly memorable evening. Guests were welcomed into a world of impeccable style, high-energy entertainment, and world-class service, all hallmarks of Heineken’s brand ethos.
The night featured a standout fashion runway moment showcasing the exclusive Heineken 45 Collection inspired by the new Heineken 45cl bottle introduced in 2024.
Styled on some of Nigeria’s most influential fashion and lifestyle figures, including Frances Theodore, Diana Eneje, Sheggz Olusemo, Saga Adeolu, and Yemi Cregx, the collection offered a mix of bold and contemporary design—a reflection of Heineken’s connection to modern trends and culture.
DJs Wanni x Handi, alongside Hypeman Shoddy, also brought their infectious energy to the night with music sets that amplified the celebration.
“Heineken has always embraced opportunities to create bold and premium experiences for our consumers,” said Kola Akintimehin, Senior Brand Manager, Heineken, Nigerian Breweries Plc. “The AMVCA Afterparty allowed us to show up in a way that celebrates our consumers’ lifestyles, from the fashion and music they love and, of course, the premium beer they enjoy. This is Heineken evolving alongside culture.”
The AMVCA Afterparty not only marked the end of a successful week of celebrations but also set a new standard for brand-led experiences within Nigeria’s entertainment sector.
With its bold presence and signature style, Heineken reaffirmed its commitment to creating unforgettable moments that connect with Nigeria’s vibrant entertainment culture and elevate audience experiences.
