Home Based Eagles Players Sign For Ethiopian Club

The home based Super Eagles players, Ifeanyi Edeh and Izu Azuka have put pen on paper to sign one year contract with Fasil Kanene Football Club of Ethiopia.
This was disclosed by a football agent, Joseph Sunday after the duo signed recently in Ethiopia. Joseph who has intermediary licence under Sudanese Football Association confirmed to PM EXPRESS that the two players were excited to have signed for Ethiopian league.
“As I am speaking to you now, I want to confirm that the likes of Ifeanyi Edeh and Izu Azuka who played for homed based Eagles at the last CHAN tournament have signed a year deal with a top flight club in Ethiopia. I facilitated this contract because I am their football agent and I can confirm to you that the players are enjoying themselves in the Ethiopian league and they are ready to give their best throughout their stay in the club, “ said Joseph who is the founder of Sunny Football Club of Ogun State.
Joseph said he has been in football transfer business for many years noted that he has helped many Nigerian amateur coaches and players to get clubs in Sudan and part of African countries. He said he is planning to market some Nigerian good players to Europe.
Edeh was invited to be part of the Nigeria national football team squad for the 2014 African Nations Championship by late Stephen Keshi
In 2015, Azuka joined Kazakhstan Premier League side FC Irtysh Pavlodar on a one-year contract. He later moved to fellow Kazakhstan Premier League side FC Taraz July of the same year.Azuka joined Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor at 4 January 2016.
