Posted on December 21, 2021

In fulfillment of his H.E.Y.S Agenda (Health, Education, Youth and Social infrastructure), the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. David Odunmbaku, has inaugurated a Bursary Award Committee.

The bursary grant is one of Hon. Odunmbaku’s efforts to make great impacts in Education; the second item in his electoral promises.

The committee is saddled with the responsibility of screening potential beneficiaries in order to ensure that Ojodu LCDA indigenes/residents really benefit from the initiative.

“This committee will ensure that the beneficiaries are strictly vetted because the scheme is meant for bonafide and qualified indigenes of Ojodu LCDA. Likewise, the bursary award will come up yearly at the beginning of each academic session”, said the Council Chairman.

The Chairman therefore, charged the committee to think out of the box in sustaining the initiative by ensuring Public-Private Partnership, as donations and contributions from private entities would go a long way in increasing the numbers of beneficiaries and the number of grants.

As inaugurated by the Executive Chairman, the committee consists of Supervisor for Education as the Chairman; Mrs. Ganiyat A. Belo – Secretary; Barrister Afolabi Kalejaiye – Legal Officer; Prince Aderemi Ajibola, Michael Imoudu and Gloria Asugha as members.
