The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, has reiterated his earnest desire to lift the standard of education among constituents as he is set to distribute forms to students about to sit for the West African Examination.

As part of his HEYS agenda, Hon. Odunmbaku has reportedly procured forms for students within the Council Development area. The gesture it was gathered is meant to assist families facing challenges at this trying time in the Council area.

He said, “Following the outbreak of Covid-19, the lockdown, lifting of restrictions and the emergence of the Delta variant of the virus, our economy as a nation has greatly been affected, the finances of individuals too were affected. For this reason, my team has decided to alleviate the effect by purchasing and distributing the forms to some of our children, who due to the financial situation cannot afford to purchase one”.

“The beneficiaries will be selected by the various leaders and stakeholders within the community to ensure that only truly our Ojodu children are picked. The screening process is expected to kick off today 21st September, 2021, by 10am, at the Ojodu Council Secretariat, Powerline area, Ogba.”
